YOUTH WEEK 2011...

What a week!

TAREE
Greater Taree City Council got us down to add some colour to the skate park.
They were a great bunch of kids with big hearts. They insisted that the murals be dedicated to their fallen brother Normie RIP.

ARMIDALE
Three days of workshops with the kids of Armidale at the local PCYC that finished off with a great exhibition of work by the kids. Thanks to all the team out there, lots of great stuff going on at the Armidale PCYC...

COFFS HARBOUR
A private commission turned into a great opportunity to give the Open Studio Saturday workshop regulars a chance to flex their skills. HUGE Thanks to Cath and Evan for funding the project and to Kim at the Happy Frog for keeping us all well fed and hydrated!
Still a lot to do before its finished, but I will post flix when its done...

NAMBUCCA VALLEY
Another awesome event put on by the NVYC and Valley Skaters,  I caught up with Dj B9, Morganics and BBoy Seiz who handed me a copy of the new HYPE Magazine that is full of lots of oldskool outlines and sketches (should be available at the studio next week)...

Bellingen Youthfest -'Local M.A.D.E.ness' event as part of the 'Drink? Don't Sink!' campaign.

Its a pity that 'youth' are only allocated funding for 1 week out of a year.
What about the other 51 weeks?
