Sadly my mate Andrew Ferguson passed away recently.
Drew was a quiet bloke but he had plenty of stories to tell and loved to have a good laugh over a beer or two...
I painted this portrait of Drew which won First Place at the Archie Bunker Portrait Prize in 2006.

I knew of an Andrew Ferguson years ago growing up in Coffs. He was a local surfer of renown and all round good guy. If this is one and the same then the world has lost a top bloke. I offer my sympathy.
