Lismore's Back Alley Gallery

I had a great time out at the Lismore  'Back Alley Gallery' last weekend painting with new friends and collaborating on wall which focused around the end of the world, 2012. I call bullshit, but that is not going to stop me from painting like its all about to go boom...
I have been painting the Willy Wagtail for a while now for my own reasons but I thought this was a perfect opportunity to play on the fact that a lot of different mobs recognize this lil' fella as the bringer of bad news. SBEK did a great job on a Nostradamus portrait and BASIX showed the fear of impending doom on the portraits of those that run with the flock...
I also painted a couple of cicada shells, which for me represent change or a coming of a new age and drastic change from the way things are...
Big thanks to Nathan for organizing the event and all the locals, including Mayor Jenny Dowell, who came down and enjoyed the day with the artists in the sun!
